The Big Picture on Evolution - a 16 page booklet

"Nothing in Biology Makes Sense Except in the Light of Evolution," says Theodosius Dobzhansky in 1973. This 16 page colorful pdf pamphlet explains Evolution to High School students in England. It provides answers to important questions about Darwinian Evolution:

  1. Why is this theory so controversial?

  2. What forces control the destiny of life on Earth?

  3. What is Natural Selection and how does Evolution work?
  4. How did life begin?
  5. Which came first, proteins, RNA, or DNA?

Carl Sagan - "We are Starstuff"

For those of you who remember Carl Sagan's Cosmos*, I found his explanation of Evolution to be quite elegant and simple. "We are Starstuff," he declares. I almost forgot how good a program it was. No wonder it won Emmy and Peabody awards. I used to watch him on PBS as a Biology student at Suffolk University back in 1980.

One of the best. "We are Starstuff" as only Carl Sagan can explain the theory of Evolution.
